About Brian Whisenhunt
I am an Oklahoma City-based artist, working primarily in watercolor, colored pencil, graphite pencil and pen & ink. With a highly detailed approach to each subject, my style can be described as simultaneously nontraditional and photo-realistic. My work allows me to refine my artistic technique while exploring my passion of military history. I enjoy studying and replicating aircraft from WWII to the present, paying close attention to aviation accuracy. When not looking to the sky for inspiration, I turn to land, capturing the beauty and power and the unique aspect of chrome on muscle cars and motorcycles. My works have been purchased across the United States and I have received numerous commissions for original pieces. My highest honor has been to be accepted as an Artist Member of the American Society of Aviation Artists.
